CILACAP PORT – Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM), a leading company in maritime logistics, proudly announces the official launch of its latest self-propelled barge, SPB SLM Dionysos. The vessel launching ceremony was held on Friday (24/01/2025) at PLTU S2P Cilacap, Central Java, attended by representatives of Sinarmas LDA Maritime management and the crew of SPB SLM Dionysos.

Designed in 2024, SPB SLM Dionysos boasts a total length of 129.30 meters and a cargo space of 99.2 m x 22.4 m x 4.5 m. As a deck cargo vessel, this ship has the capability to transport up to 13,000 tons of cargo. SPB SLM Dionysos is specifically designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability in coal transportation, one of Indonesia’s primary commodities. The addition of this vessel reflects Sinarmas LDA Maritime’s commitment to continuous innovation and providing top-tier services to its clients.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, SPB SLM Dionysos is designed to improve operational efficiency, fuel savings, and safety standards. The addition of this vessel further strengthens SLM’s fleet capacity, enabling the company to meet the growing demand for bulk cargo transportation in Indonesia’s dynamic maritime industry.
